Vision Apartments to open Lausanne co-working space and apartments

Vision Apartments has announced plans for a 61-apartment development with shared offices, conference rooms and a fitness centre.

The new-build six-storey building, called Les Jardins de la Venoge, is located in Lausanne's St. Sulpice district, close to Lake Geneva and the EPFL. It is the third location in Lausanne for Vision Apartments.

The units are furnished in a range of styles - customers can choose between "South African flair" and "Aegean lightness", depending on availability. The amenities in the building include W-LAN, digital TV with international channels, weekly cleaning service and regular refilling of toiletries. The laundry room also provides tenants with washing machines and tumble dryers to use free of charge. Further services such as a laundry service or extra cleaning may be used for a fee.

In addition to furnished apartments, the new location also offers shared offices, conference rooms and a fitness centre, which can also be booked and used by non-residents.

"With the mixture of apartments, co-working spaces and the fitness centre, we have created a successful symbiosis of living and working space in Lausanne St. Sulpice," said Anja Graf, CEO and chairwoman of Vision Apartments. "In addition, realising the sharing economy concept is a further step in our efforts to continue with the innovative expansion of our services."

For me, the most important thing is the networking. My business is in a small city and you need to be in an environment with people that are talking about ideas, giving you a new perspective. The workshops are also like having a family where you can talk about your main issues and they will understand.
